Couple of things. First off, remember the friend I had that went missing? His car was found in a small town a couple of hours away from here. His roommate said his car disappeared from the house sometime over the night a few days ago. Needless to say, this has given me hope and I'm feeling ever-so-slightly chipper at the moment. In other news, raging fires are pretty much surrounding me. I hear fire trucks at least every few hours.
--I just checked the active wildfires map for my state and HOLY SHIT. The fires are closer to me, but my town is almost completely black out by the smoke spread. I wouldn't be surprised if this invariably caused the cold front this morning which lowered the temperature a good 40-50 degrees.
